We are looking for self-motivated professional journalist or communications specialists with good team playing and excellent editorial skills, a sound understanding of writing for the web and engaging online audiences to fill the following: Online Journalist

The online Journalist is required to work to flexible work schedules and should be prepared to work at odd hours
including weekends and holidays.

Key Accountabilities

• Create and source rich media content for publishing on the website
• Prepare podcasts (audios and Videos) for publishing on the site
• Publish compelling photo galleries of events
• Moderate forums / chat sessions
• Contribute to the detailed design of the website
• Advise Editor on resource needs and industry trends / competition

Skills / Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good report writing skills
• Analytical with an eye for detail
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and for long periods
• Flexible attitude to working arrangements

Qualification Required & Experience

• 1st Degree in Communication / Journalism Studies or related field with 3 years working experience most of which

should have been in online journalism Or

• Diploma in Journalism from a reputable institution with 5 years working experience most of which should have been

in online Journalism

• Member of the Ghana Journalists Association
