A reputable architectural, furniture and Interior Design company is looking to recruit a Business Development Officer. The individual would be in charge of driving business development strategies whilst developing an in-depth knowledge of company products, prices and achieving sales revenue targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, opportunity requirements, and financials; evaluating options.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new businesses with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners’ needs and goals
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Analyze the current and past budgets, expenses, sales, revenues in order to provide recommendations for business growth.
  • Assist in the company’s branding and media communication activities such as brochures, advertisements, marketing materials, and websites.
  • Respond to the client’s queries regarding the products in a timely fashion.
  • Hire, train marketing and business development associates if needed.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years in a similar role
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Convincing Personality, good planner, self-starter, and committed to results
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build a good working relationship with customers
