The Mechanical Engineer will be required for creating the concept, CAD design and prototype of components for Evoke’s future vehicles. The engineer will be responsible for creating the initial CAD design, simulation testing, CAM assembly testing and final prototyping.
The engineer will be responsible for running strength and reliability simulations on critical components to ensure that they have of sufficient strength and reliability.
The engineer will work with the design lead to ensure that the components designed meet the vehicles design requirements and design language. The engineer will also ensure that the design part can be later produced via a suitable production method whether it is casting, CNC milling, laser cutting or injection molding.
The job requires people with strong mechanical skills as well as interested in design. Working with an international team in different countries, we are interested in people with good written communication skills.

Design and develop custom and unique parts for electric motorcycles and power train components
Create 2D and 3D CAD drawings, models and renderings
Execute strength and structural simulations for new parts for electric motorcycles
Create and develop component mounting solutions and installation procedures and produce components with the latest manufacturing methods (CAM)
Create systems necessary to bring products and components it to final production
Familiar working with Fusion 360, we only accept applicants who can use Fusion 360.
Strong CAD and CAM skills
Familiar with design practices for metal casting, sheet metal, CNC milling and vacuum forming
Strong interest to learn and try new things, has a strong curiosity about mechanical systems and design
Experience with motorcycle components is a plus
Interest in motorcycles and riding, if you cannot ride yet we are looking for people who have a keen interest in the sport and are eager to learn
